Percico thoughts:
Nico gets cursed into a kitten or a puppy, and he somehow ends up near Percy's apartment, injured. The only way to turn back into himself is the cliche act of true love. Percy finds him and takes care of him. This could take place around the battle of the labyrinth. So Percy is looking everywhere for Nico but Nico is actually right there seeing all this worry Percy has for him. Because Percy is venting to his new pet(who he named Nemo) Nico also finds out about the prophecy. And Percy making sure its him. Nico can still shadow travel in this form so Percy is extra confused how his new pet keeps following him into dangerous situations.
