Perdie: It wasn’t the happiest moment of our lives to be quite honest, but it was from that point that some of our happiest experiences could begin, which, in itself is pretty special I think

Stars and clock for Amber and Perdie~

Clock: How does your gem spend their free time?

Perdie: Well, we all have quite a lot of hobbies of course. Amber’s very fond of playing instruments and reading, and when she really needs quiet and calm she often goes and sits alone by her resin pool, it is quite tranquil there. Sometimes she’ll start sculpting new creatures sitting on the board by it.

Perdie: Me, I do love baking, but you can only do so much at once before all the gems around who will eat can’t take any more. Otherwise I spend a lot of work and hobby time in my security hut. I like designing video games, and designing and building physical machines. This picture I took is only a small corner, but the place is a mess, I unfortunately tend to leave all my projects and plans and tools about the place, but hey, it’s a system!

Perdie: And well, as a married couple we of course like spending time together and with friends too. So you know, the general types of things, chatting, watching tv together, stargazing, going out places, turning into a kickass fusion. The usual couple and friend things.

41. Is your OC patient? Why or why not?

Perdie has pretty low patience, she’s very used to having good ideas and solutions and having them quickly, so when she’s working on a project and suddenly comes across some sort of inspiration-block or inability to work out an issue, she’ll get frustrated and start hitting machinery with a wrench pretty quickly.

She’s not fond of waiting or having people drag their heels on decisions and feels a drive to be mentally stimulated by doing something or paying attention to something almost all the time. 

However, when it comes to people being upset or arguing she can have endless patience as she tries to work things out. She does get annoyed extremely quickly by harmful ignorance and stupidity and generally lets that show.

Amber has seemingly endless patience. While she does need things to do and engage her mind, she’s also very happy to spend half her time in complete quiet and even meditative like states to relax herself. 

She can focus very strongly on tasks and spend patient hours sitting on watch and doing nothing but watching and observing and enjoys a lot of often slow-going, trial and error hobbies like making art and music, without losing patience over artist-block.

When asked or pressured to do things she doesn’t want to or agree with, or just when having to deal with people she doesn’t know well she can become irritable or moody pretty quickly, and gets flustered around people being very emotional, trying to work out frantically how to either help or escape the situation. Most of her impatience comes from situations where she doesn’t know or understand what to do.
