I made chicken pot pie muffins again!!! They are so good. The crust gets so crispy this way, and each muffin is a perfect serving size. It has a delightful ratio of crust to filling!!! I am using great self control not to have a second one. I'm stuffed from the first one, but they're sooooooo good. I'll have one for breakfast. Is it breakfast time, yet? 😉😁🤣😋 I filled them with chicken, pearl onions, mushrooms, carrots, peas, corn, celery, green peppers, onions, minced garlic, and a wonderful roux that I made from flour, butter, chicken stock, milk, and seasonings. I'm getting hungry again just typing this into my phone... 😁🤣🤣😋 In the words of Julia Child, whose pastry dough recipe i used... bon appétit!! I actually added more butter to the great French chef's recipe. More butter in a French recipe is extravagant, but delicious!!! These things are decadent. That's why I only eat them once in a while.... 😁🤣😍😋
