Lip Gallagher Imagine/Preference when you wear makeup for someone else, and he has feelings for you.

I know I haven’t been posting as much. I just started working and doing school at the same time. It’s a little difficult, but I’m working on it. Also, I’m working on multiple pieces, and I will try to write for more fandoms. I have some on the way, but for now, I have this Lip one. I hope you enjoy this Lip post. It’s a bit sweet and angsty. I’ve loved Shameless for a while. Any criticisms are welcomed as always.

Only background needed is that Lip and you are pretty close friends, and you were almost together. However, while things were complicated, you’re relationship suffered a bit, so you both got hurt a lot. Now, you guys are just friends, but you hold a place in Lip’s heart. 

As you were getting ready for a date, a knock came to your apartment door. You walked over to the door to look into your peep hole to see Lip. You let out a small huff before reluctantly opening the door. Lip walked right in without giving you so much as a glance.

You give him a look and say, “What’s up? I told you I had a date today. Why are you here?“ 

He turns around to meet your eyes; however, his eyes quickly travel to the rest of your face. After reviewing your face, he can't help snicker before responding, “What’s up with me? What’s up with your face? What are you wearing all of that for?” He steps forward with a teasing index finger.

You slap his hand away as it’s about to touch you and answer, “I’m trying to look nice.” 

“You failed in the face department,'' He said as he gestured to your face. You dart over to the mirror with a gasp leaving your lips as you begin to look over the work you'd done.

While not being too sure where the issue was, you couldn't help needing to know what he was talking about and asked, “Why? Is it not blended enough? Colors are off?” 

“Everything is wrong.”

“You can't be serious. It took me forever to do. Stop messing with me. It's not funny.”

“I’m not messing with you. If the goal was to make an improvement, mission failed.”

“Lip-Are you going to tell me or not? My date will be here soon. Suddenly, he states, “It’s ridiculous.”

You look over to him and ask, “What is?”

“You’re makeup. Not that you did parts of it wrong or whatever, but you don’t need it. You failed in trying to look better because I think you look best all natural.”

“Lip, that’s sweet and all, but-”

Lip takes a step forward and puts a hand on your hand. He meets your eyes, and he tells you sincerely, “You can’t ask me to tell you that you’ve improved, especially not when you did all this for someone besides yourself.”

He recognized the hold he had on you; however, he could also see the hurt reflect in your eyes from the times he’d should’ve done better. You never dated but he knows you could've if it hadn't been for his way of love. Since he hurt you, you were reluctant in his affection as you pulled away from him, which he understood.

You sighed before trying to protest; however, your phone buzzing interrupted with a message from him.

As you read the illuminated screen, you just stated, “They aren’t coming…”

You slumped down a bit and walked past him towards your dresser for a change of clothes. Lip stood unsure with what to do with himself. Well, that’s actually a lie, he held the words close to him, but he couldn’t bring himself to utter them. Instead, he said, “He’s an idiot.”

You responded with, “I’m gonna change. Be right back…”

“I’m staying…” You didn’t respond and simply made your way over to the bathroom to change. As you closed the door, he found himself saying, “I’m serious about what I said.”

When you came out, you got a blanket to drape over yourself and conceal almost your whole body. Then, you turned on the tv and sat on your bed. When Lip walked over to sit next to you, he expressed concern about your still painted face, so he said, “You’re not taking the makeup off? I just poured my soul to you about it.”

”I will...later. I spent hours learning how to do it. I’m going to wear it a little longer.”

He left it at that, but would be lying if he said he didn’t think you were upset. You two watched movies and munched on food for a while until sleep found you.

He rose from his position next to you before he got up to lower the tv’s volume, put the food away, and gathered supplies to clean your face with. He took a makeup wipe and did his best to remove the make up with a gentle touch. Then, he grabbed a wet towel to barely graze your skin with, and he found himself entranced with every detail on your face.

When he realized his behavior, he wrapped up the clean up. He had the thought to leave, but he really didn’t want to. Instead, he laid next to you. Lip leaned against his arm to stare for a second. Instinctively, he laid a hand on your face. He especially loved the peaceful look on your face, which left him mesmerized.

I’m not very sure why he would do this

I just got this feeling he would love photography

Like he would have an aesthetic Instagram or something 

But people would also hire him for events to take pictures

This boy

Would be an amazing writer

I can see it now

I feel like he would either write fantasy books

Or like, young adult fiction books

I would buy his books any day

Yuto : Kid’s Baseball Coach

If you’ve seen the episode of Pentagon Maker

You KNOW he’s good with kids

And he’s the baseball guy

He would be a great coach for little kids

And he would help them get better

And help them feel better if they thought they weren’t doing well

Okay so also from that same episode

Kids LOVE this man

And he loves to dance

I just know he would be a dance teacher

And he would take them to dance recitals

He would be behind the curtain dancing to the dance to help the kids if they forgot

It would be so cute

This man has got me stuck on music

I think he would make his own music

Like he makes music to put online

He would spend days in his room making music

How they propose

Ponyboy- He read a bunch of romantic novels when he knew he wanted to propose, he wanted to do it right, he also asked the gang what would be best. He took you out to a really nice dinner and about half way home he stopped and you asked “Will you marry me?” A smile fell across your face and you slowly nodded. He smiled sliding the ring on your finger and kissing you.  

Sodapop- You woke up and Soda was gone, you spent the night together and he always woke up after you, you laid in bed for a while, he probably remember he had to work and didn’t want to wake me up. After a while you heard the door open and he came in carrying a cup of hot chocolate. “Good morning.” He smiled. He handed me the cup and as he took his hand off the handle he got down on one knee. “Marry me?” He asked. “Of course.” You screamed and put the cup down before tackling him to the floor in a hug. 

Steve- You had been living together for a year and had been together for years. You were laying in bed talking, you had been out on a date and just laying in bed. “Do you want to get married?” He asked. “Really?” You looked up at him. “Yeah, I don’t have a ring, I just want to marry you, I know that now.” “I want to marry you too.” You smiled and he kissed you, then he kissed your forehead and the rest of the evening he kept randomly kissing you. 

Johnny- He planned a date to the lake. You spent the day swimming, walking around on the beach and eating or just laying in the sun. Later in the date you took a walk along the shore. “This is so pretty.” You smiled. “So are you.” He smiled. “And I want to make it even more special.” He got down and pulled out a ring. “Will you marry me?” He asked. “Yes yes yes!” You yelled, leaning into him. 

Two-bit- You were at home, you really didn’t want to go out so Two went out with the gang, you were a little upset he pick them over you since you have barely been together the past week. You heard a knock on the door and opened it to Two-bit with a pizza. You smiled and let him in and sat down on the couch. He opened the pizza and look at you. “Wait really?” You asked. “Yes, for once this isn’t a joke.” He laughed. “Then yes.” You lean over and kissed him as he slid a ring pop on your finger. “Two.” You laughed. 

Darry- Your entire relationship was it was out of a movie. So he made sure the proposal was like a movie, you went out to a really nice dinner. After when you were walking out and looking at all the lights he got down. “(Y/N) will you marry me?” He asked. You hands flew up to your mouth as you gasp. “Yes.” You smiled starting to tear up and hugged him. 

Dallas- You had been asking him to propose to you for a couple months. Finally he said you were going out on a date and you both got ready, after you ate you went to the park where you had a few dates before. He let go of your hand and knelt down, you felt yourself smiling. Then he lean over and tied his shoe. “Dallas.” You playfully hit him with your purse. He grinned and got up. “Maybe someday.” He smirked taking your hand and kept walking.
