Another Ennio Morricone melody for the TV movie "Perlasca".

Listened to “Perlasca”, another score that Ennio Morricone wrote for an Italian TV series.

(I ordered the DVD but haven’t seen it yet, so don’t ask.)

Clearly, Morricone had to write the music quickly - quicker than when he wrote a film score - nor did he dispose of a full orchestra to record these soundtracks.

But he was always able to invent “Morricone melodies” for these modest, for television jobs. That well never went dry, such was his unique talent!
