I tried
Persona 3 Portable (2006)
I found one point that I actually passionately hate about fandoms in general.
People say they love character X and as a reason use their headcanons or things from beta game/design, early concepts and so on. And you know what? You shouldn’t say that you like this character if you’re asked about that. Yes, you don’t like, as I mentioned before, Naoto if you think she’s trans. You don’t like Kanji if you think he’s gay. You don’t like Yosuke if you cling to the idea of him being gay and romance option for Yu. You don’t like them. You like the versions that actually don’t exist. It irks me when someone says that they like my fave or unpopular character, I want to know why because of hoping to hear about good points of those characters but I get bunch of nonsense that isn’t supported by canon. Why do I cling to canon so much? Because it’s what the game is and any other form of story. It doesn’t exist beyond boundaries that are stated or highly implied in the game. If it was removed out of the game, there must’ve been reason for that. If characters don’t fit to your representation quota maybe they address other issues that are more common or even more important? You can like whoever you want, even actually smart Kanji (headcanon) that is gayest of the whole Persona franchise (another headcanon) but just don’t create confusion and say you like Kanji as if you like him in canon. While it’s way easier to find examples with P4 I’ll tag P3 and P5 as well, since we have gay Yusuke, gay Ryuji, lesbian Ann, lesbian Hamuko headcanons. And that’s not even the full list. I’ve mentioned sexualities since it’s the most common discourse here and the most voiced headcanons type, if I can call it that. There’re much more those arguments but they’re mentioned less and I won’t remember them right away. And I won’t risk my mental health to talk to people directly, as you can tell I’m already having too much salt in this life.
Meet the Specialized Extracurricular Extermination Squad (SEES) and get a first look at some of their Social scenes and English voiceover from Persona 3: Dan...
Next up, Dancing in Moonlight’s trailer! One funny little thing, Yukari’s voice lines weren’t in the Twitter trailer, glad to see that’s fixed for the YT version!
Omg first Social Link :D
Not like it’s the only game in the series to do that, so it gets worse (Portable at least changed that npc to the creepy sub teacher from P4) And you end up meeting Aigis in the end, so it was somewhat important
Yeah I met her but it was very uncomfortable and thanks, now I don't wanna play fourth game... I wonder why do they think it's a good idea to make such a moments in the game :(
Someone please tell me if there is a boy band AU of persona thanks to the dancing games cause I need this now
