It is! All the possibilities. And I love that Ryan specifically asked Darren what he wanted to do next because I think Darren has a lot of ideas as well. Putting those two minds together will result in a lot of magic for us.

I’m tagging @whatstheproblembaby because she’s currently the only fic-writer with new work on my dash lmao (sorry, I’m terrible, working on it) and also whoever

“I Saw the Signs” - post “The First Time” Hudmel family moment 

“I’m taking my coffee to my room,” Kurt announces, avoiding their glances as he leaves. He turns at the foot of the stairs and adds, “Thanks, Dad. And Finn, despite the, um… crude way that you said it, I – it’s nice to know. I do appreciate it.”

Finn shrugs. “It’s nothing, bro. I’m just not being a dick.”

Burt picks his newspaper back up, grinning at the picture of Blaine and Rachel staring into each other’s eyes. “Our protagonists, in love and on the verge of adulthood, are so convincing in their charming young romance that one might think they had real-life experience to draw from!”

That columnist has no idea.

"Heroes Never Die” - (part 1 of ?) Kurt and Blaine meet online, playing Overwatch

Blaine… Hmm. “Superhero by day, skilled healer by night?”

“That’s me,” Blaine laughs. The sound is wonderful. “Actually, I can play a lot of characters, if you want to stick with healer. Or I can. I’m versatile.”

What a refreshing change from his usual play group. Kurt likes it. Kurt likes him.

“We’ll see what kind of group we get. Ready?”

“Let’s save the world!” Blaine exclaims, pulling a chuckle from Kurt as he puts them in the queue for a game.

This ought to be interesting.

“Fly” - Blaine, Kurt, and the rest of the squad in a Disney Fairies AU

“Would you… accompany me back to my maple tree? S-so we can, um, let my team know the plan and start preparations, I mean.” Blaine looks down and shuts his eyes when he finishes talking, mentally berating himself for letting his courage falter when all he wants is to ask Kurt to go on a walk around the pond.

Kurt watches him for a moment with a little smile, putting something together in his head before he answers. “Of course. And then, when we’re done visiting my burrow to get my team on board, would you like to go for a walk through the rosebushes?”

Blaine’s nervous grimace becomes a thousand-firefly beam as he nods, wordlessly but ecstatically, and lets go of Kurt’s hand so that he can wrap up his designs.

Kurt reaches for him again, taking his hand without a second thought before they lift off for the animal fairies’ maple tree. “I just think I should hold onto you, Blaine,” he says, one eyebrow arched. “I’m not sure you can keep up.”

Blaine takes the cheeky challenge for what it is and holds on tight as they fly. “We’ll see about that.”

“Flustered” - lil early!Klaine ficlet set right after the “Blackbird” moment

“I’ll see you in the morning. Feel free to text me if you want.”

Blaine definitely wants. “Yeah. I’ll… see you.”

Kurt gives him a funny look, bemused by his awkward behavior, but he grins and waves the hand with the handkerchief in it as he leaves the room.

Blaine just stands there for a few more minutes, pressing his palms together in front of his face as the words for what he needs to express start to sort themselves out in his head.

He suddenly has a lot more to put on the council table than those silly blazers.

“That Can Only Mean One Thing” - sexy social media shenanigans on top of a “same age but manager/employee” relationship

Blaine’s eyes darken. “You know, I didn’t think you had any idea of the effect you have on people, but I was wrong, wasn’t I?”

“I think I’m starting to figure it out,” Kurt answers, setting down his glass and turning to give Blaine a good view of him walking away. Then he grins coyly over his shoulder and says, “I live closer to the venue than you do, so, meet me at my place? I’ll text you the address.”

Blaine just nods, sipping his wine with that same sultry look in his eyes as he watches him.

“Great. I’ll see you–OOF!” Kurt bangs into the glass door, once again not quite realizing how close it is and shattering his sudden confident fatale persona.

Blaine spits some of his wine back into his glass, laughing, and covers his mouth. He coughs a few times, but thankfully, choosing not to comment on it, lets Kurt walk away with a sweet, simple, “I can’t wait.”
