The two platonic soulmates are exact opposites lol. In all seriousness, they are quite similar as they're the most gentle-hearted ones out of the group, just one is a sassy lost child, and the other is sunshine incarnate. Percy can just act scary lol

I've spoken before about the six Spirits of Fara! it was the plot of the original game, sold in stores, before it glitched. they aren’t mentioned much. in fact, up until now, I've only mentioned the spirit Hope. 

she’s heavily linked to Locke - the last hope of Fara.

and it hit me a few days ago that Locke and Bolte are foils to each other. opposite sides of the same coins, linked in ways that can’t be undone, can’t be forgotten.

which means it makes sense, i think, that Bolte has a spirit association, too. and what is the foil to hope? what is the other side of that coin?

perseverance. 

you can’t have hope without perseverance. you can’t persevere without having hope. one does not exist without the other.

and it works so well

because the entire focus of the second book in the series is persevering and surviving against all odds, and the final book in the series is about coming together and having your differences be the saving grace.

Undertale Rainbow Teaser Poems (3/5)

They're done! This one only went as fast as it did as Stella's was the one I finished before even the first post. I had to edit hers tho as her's compared to everyone else's looked so plain, thus I added her little friend and caretaker :p Also, a small thing to tell y'all about Percy's, their binary translates to two different messages, there's only those two and no more. It's a simple message you can use any online translator to figure out. Lemme know if the binary is too hard to see and I'll put the binary phrases in the comments. The souls do have magic relating to their traits that only awoken when they fell into the underground, as humans over the years both demonized and forgot their magic as they wanted to distance themselves from the monsters who taught them it. Some traits, like integrity and justice, have more than one ability, but that's something more touched on in Undertale Rainbow. Perseverance has a shield/forcefield that they can only use on themselves at least on Percy's level, which can keep them in place (a reference to the grid from this soul mode in the game if that makes sense). That's all I'm revealing for now, just know we have thought of all of this before we created the story, so most discoveries will be intentional from the start.
