The weather rn is perfect for watching romances; it's cloudy, windy, but not cold but not hot either. Still kinda..humid? (lowkey don't like the humidity though, bleh)

Just finished ep 1 of Seeking Persephone, I like it. :D

I think next I will start Jane Eyre; always heard good stuff about it but never watched it.

Fascinated by how before I fell asleep, I took off my shirt (plaid button-down) cuz my room was hot. Woke up to discover that I had put it back on in my sleep, backwards

let me deep something real quick . ok. I, a transgender man, read Percy Jackson and the Olympians around the age of 12ish as someone who idolized his older brother, enjoyed playing video games (pc), spent a lot of time reading, just generally felt extremely alienated from every other girl his age, Percy was everything I wanted to be. He was my absolute idol, my god in an ironic way. I felt very seen, someone who was different in a way that no one seemed to understand (trans) with only one person in the world who you felt truly knew (loved) you. I felt isolated from everyone because i knew i was different and i knew i had to hide it (i did not question this belief). I wont continue going down the rabbit hole but the point is that this TV adaptation is literally bringing me back to what i saw in my head all those years ago. Im reliving my inner child in a sense and it feels healing. i feel like i actually, genuinely understand myself better because this story triggers such emotional, powerful nostalgia in me that inspires me to reflect on my self-image and look back on my nostalgia for wisdom. Mini Update 3/31/23

I am loving the blurb requests that are coming through.

I am really enjoying writing these short bits and hope I can commit to some of my longer fic requests again or at least write the myriad of follow up chapters I have queued up.

Work will be pretty busy until next week so if I am scarce with updated the blurbs that's why. But I will have a pretty slow April and May after that so expect for me to be more prolific. June we jump right back in and running at work with more concerts so I'm going to really take advantage of my coming down time to get these blurbs out and maybe more.
