How was it with me? It started with me wanting a nice wallpaper with Astarion. So I downloaded Otis free camera mod and fired up Photoshop and Lightroom.

That was my first shot:

Of course, I made the wallpaper too !

At first, I didn't use ReShade, I started experimenting with it later.

That’s when I also started making a lot of portraits:

And when the kisses update came out, I also started taking a lot shots of couples.

As for Aristen, there is certainly one trait that has stayed with her: she has no problem with dead bodies. And here I’ll give a concrete example - or two .

Since Astarion has to eat, he hunts for murderers, rapists, and other bad people in the city. But being something of a cat-like elf, he sometimes likes to leave his snacks - say, right in the middle of the living room 🤣. Aristen comes home and sees a dead guy on the table. She has no issue with the fact that it’s a corpse - she’d react the same way if, say, Astarion had left dirty socks lying around. She’s just annoyed that the thing is somewhere it shouldn't be and is dirtying her floor 🤣.

Here’s another example: she’s fighting alongside Astarion against some thugs in a dive. There are bodies everywhere. Both are exhausted and need to rest. They head into a nearby room and settle down - even though there are a few corpses right there against the wall. It doesn’t bother her - at least Astarion has something to eat 😂.

It occurred to me that I'd never actually drawn these two together, so I decided fixing that would be a good way to end Pride Month.
