Forensic study shows us what this Pictish man from Bridge of Tilt may have looked like. He died, aged 45, over 1,500 years ago.
In 1985, housebuilding near Blair Atholl, unearthed a 5th century long-cist grave, a coffin-sized grave made of stone slabs. The male skeleton found inside was laid with his head pointing towards the west.
