The pest snails I got from Petsmart are laying eggs in their jar. I'll never run out of puffer food at this rate

I found this tiny snail in my tank today. Can anyone help me figure out what kind of snail it is, whether I should keep it, and how to care for it if so? Background info: It's been like a month since I put in any new plants, and this is the first time I've seen this guy. The only other snail in my tank (that I know of) is a mystery snail, who has never laid any egg clutches in my tank.

I think I have literally the biggest pond snail ever. He's hitting about an inch. all my other snails are teeny little specks or else like ½ cm long brown pond snails. But Moby Dick the Great White Snail is massive.
