When you can’t go to sleep because your pet donkey needs to go outside...

For 5 years I've lived on a small hobby farm. We have chickens, pigs, cows and one donkey. He and I are friends. I call him Hodie, as in Donkey Hodie, because I love dumb jokes. I bring him carrots and apples and when he sees me he brays and comes running. Hodie follows me around like a puppy whenever I’m in the field. He walks stressfully close to me and my relatively unprotected feet, but has yet to step on me. I love this little guy.
