I've been reading Mike Carey's Lucifer and it's a very interesting book.

It has this wonderfully psychedelic vibe to its horror, it's different from what I'm used to, but very effective, artists like Chris Weston, Dean Ormston and Peter Gross really shine in how they bring this world to life.

I like how Lucifer is never trying to solve any of the problems that appear in each arc.

He is always part of some b plot that involves whatever his big scheme is about.

Also, he is never sympathetic. He is a silver-tongued manipulator as expected, and we never know what his next move will be.

But my favorite part of the book is the supporting cast. I love how a lot of the time the main plot is theirs, with all of them being pretty interesting characters, whether they're seeding future plot points or are one offs. It's been a very fun read.
