During my time at The Directory Group I was set the task of creating a logo for Business Buddies. It had to fit alongside the branding of The Directory Group.

Shopping, Brunch and The Lake xx We started the week with days with just Mark, Coen and myself as Spence was at nursery. This meant we could actually get some grown up stuff done. On Monday, we took a shopping trip to Southampton, followed by sofa shopping! These days we can rarely take a visit to the shops with having to control a bored toddler so we only go if we need something specific and if it can't be bought online! So it was quite nice to have a lazy walk around the shops followed by lunch at our favourite place, Yo Sushi! We even managed to go to a few toy shops without a toddler wanting literally everything or being forced to buy something to prevent a meltdown! I can't remember the last time I did that much walking in one day. On Tuesday, we took a trip into Chichester, we had brunch at Bills, followed by more furniture shopping. This time we learnt our lesson and managed to get home in time for Coens afternoon nap meaning we had a few hours of pure peaceful bliss! So Mark played Battlefront and I either read my book or watched some Pretty Little Liars on Netflix. On Wednesday, we decided that we were truely shopped out so took Coen to the Lake for a walk. I have been to the lake so much during my maternity leave but Mark always misses out so it was nice that he could come with us. We walked a lap of the lake getting a tea and sausage bap halfway. And because we loved our 'nap time' so much we made sure we were home for Coen's nap so we could resume our Battlefront / Pretty Little Liars.
What to do with left over lobster? Summertime lobster salad. This is local greens from #petersfield in North East Margaree, fresh Atlantic lobster cooked yesterday, purple onion, avocado, and red grapefruit. ( yes, grapefruit ) A little lemon juice, olive oil and salt & pepper to taste....you can thank me later-;) paired with a grapefruit Radler brewed by a local company- it's summertime lobster salad. I'm a lucky man. Cheers! #theunpluggedwoodshop #unpluggedsummer2017 #lobster #salad #lobsterseason #capebreton #summertime #bonappetit #madebyhand #islandtime (at Belle Cote, Cape Breton, NS)
