Happy #nationalpetday to these furballs who are my 🌕 and 🌠. All are rescues. Mia was minutes from euthanasia when a foster (@clarebear03) stepped up to save her life. Clark and his sister were abandoned newborn kittens who became surrogates of a brave mama cat who had her own babies but still accepted two extras while she was in foster care (@nikkumsnails). Totes was surrendered to the shelter after his original owner had a stroke and could no longer care for him. If you are looking for a furry family member, please adopt and don't shop. MILLIONS of healthy and adoptable dogs and cats get euthanized in the United States EVERY YEAR because there just isn't enough space for them. These are loving, smart, beautiful pets!!! Please stop supporting backyard breeders (which is any family that decides to breed for fun, even if they love their dogs AND YES EVEN IF THEY HAVE AKC PAPERWORK) and consider saving a life instead.
