Grimacing against the intense, sharp pain, Maru hunched over with a soft noise of distress, raising a hand to his forehead as if it would help to massage away the pain. Prior experience said it wouldn’t.

Even after everything was said and done, the blasted headaches still troubled him. What he wouldn’t give for a little relief.
