There have been some new patches and mends added to my scouting uniform!
Firstly i had to to a bit more mending on the collar to reinforce it.
Then i added three new patches and a bit of reinforcement to my right shoulder. The round one is one for the 50th aniversary of my organisation, the orange one is from a camp this autumm (and it`s placed over a hole) and the big one is from a camp more than 10 years ago, that i just did never put up.
I also added a bracelet, that i got last year, to cover up a tiny hole
And last weekend i went to a camp with only the youngest kids from our local group, so it was only 11 "Wölflinge" (6 to 10 years olds) and three leaders. The kids quite liked my uniform and i let them paint on it a bit to add some color in the back. It got quite messy but i still enjoy the look. We also painted patches ourselves:
Mine was the minimalistic blue one, and i patched it over a hole on my sleeve afterwards. I thougt it was really fun that all children and their parents really liked my uniform and that i could tell them, that i only have so many patches cause otherwise my uniform would fall apart completly :D
