I made this new account because my original has been marked as explicit for well over a month now and I'm tired of it. If I really wanted to make a new account to reblog from people who knew who I was and had me blocked I wouldn't have made my name so similar to my old one. I'm not even paying attention to who I'm reblogging from. I'm just reblogging based on what I like.

I'm sad to see people are still so obsessed with me in such a way that they must sound the alarm and that friends of mine in the Phandom have to bring it to my attention. Plenty of people in the Phandom across various social media platforms know who I am and my "notorious" history in the Phandom and yet have gotten to know me and see that's not really who I am. I have met some of them in real life recently at Masquerade.

If people want to keep judging me for what others have said or things I said just because I knew there was no point in arguing, that's on you. I know this Phandom can be toxic which always makes me laugh because the source material is about forgiveness and acceptance.

Interesting how people gatekeep communities to keep them in the status quo (in the phandom's case, white and colonizer-centred). PoC responses to your points terrify you, because you subconsciouly yearn for a community that doesn't include us. So it's easy for you to say: if it offends you, you should leave. I actually think if our presence intimidates you this much, YOU'RE the one who should leave! This community is beautifully diverse and we'll keep thriving, whether they tour here or not. You can't cover your eyes and pretend we don't exist, or that we're in some way beneath you and less deserving. It will NEVER work like that and you're absolutely terrified of it. Be better, do better! I don't care what you do outside of tumblr (good for you or whatever), but here in this space you're being extremely toxic and guess what?? It took one response for you to show ur true face and now you can't take it back.

Um. You know RJDaae is also an E/C shipper right? But I don't see you bashing her or calling her a woman hater and an abuse apologist. Explain that. (Oh, and don't say anything like "yeah, but see explained herself, she does not condone abuse and misogyny even though she ships E/C" because half the Phandom has been trying to do just the same, explain themselves to you, and you just won't listen.)

Again, I never named anyone in the original UNTAGGED post, spooky decided to make it about them when I didn’t even know who the fuck they were beforehand. I didn’t name everyone, I was talking about a trend I’ve seen on tumblr, Instagram, ao3 and the like. It was never intended to be a post to be reblogged by people I didn’t know. 

I never called anyone specifically a woman hater. I called Spooky an rape apologist because they fucking reblogged a post saying it was okay for a celebrity to rape a fourteen year old girl “because he didn’t know her age”. I have no idea what any of these fanfics contain because I won’t subject myself to reading them. NO ONE has said anything to me about “this is how MY version of E/C is different”. Everyone just uses sassy gifs to an annoying extent and calls me a dyke and sends me gore.

 RJ and I are not mutuals but we are friendly and have talked on several occasions. I know from RJ’s passionate defense of Christine that she does not see her as a Barbie doll prize for Erik’s shitty life (and look, I am not accusing anyone here of doing that, as I have not read most of their posts or their fanfiction). I still will not read her fanfiction, although I’m sure it’s well written, as Birdie and I have had problems and besides, I don’t ship E/C and have no plans to start, so why would I? Chantelle is 27 fucking years old and has been a phan for a long time. I personally don’t agree with her shipping choices but I respect her.

Again, this post was about NO ONE IN PARTICULAR and a lot of people are so self conscious about this that they are making it about them, despite the fact that I make it a point to avoid Phamily blogs and didn’t even know who any of these people are!!!!

I don’t know why people value my opinion so much considering I’m pretty sure none of these blogs were following me since I don’t post 90% phantom of the opera. I am not a big name Phantom blogger and I only follow a limited amount of people. I simply made a post that showed up in tumblr search, and I guess sorry??? Am I not allowed to use the words “The Phantom of the Opera” without slashes on my own fucking personal blog? Again, this post had nothing to do necessarily with E/C, i think people also have unfair problems with the women in susan kay’s novel, Carlotta, etc. SPOOKY, YOU EXTRAPOLATED THAT THIS POST WAS APPLYING TO YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS WHEN I HAD NO IDEA WHO THE FUCK YOU WERE. Clearly you have some unresolved issues if you are hurt so deeply by a vague post by someone you don’t know. Clearly you have very supportive friends, but you all will enable racism and ableism in your corner of the phandom.

You all wildly misinterpreted RJ’s post on the subject, thinking an adult, respected BNF was giving you the all clear to feel good about yourself. Shipping does not exist in a vacuum. If you are going to ship something with this loaded power dynamics, go ahead, I won’t even bother trying to stop you. But you have to be conscious of what you are saying and doing, and not treated serious character flaws as hilarious little quirks. “LMAO Erik kidnapped Christine and drugged her! Problematic dumpster fire!”

Can I just request you leave me the fuck alone. Spooky, Elise, and Keurig, I’m awaiting my apology that I know I will never get. Oh well...

I'm going to encourage everyone in the phandom again to block esmiephan. She continues to harass people in the phandom who haven't blocked her over their opinions of fictional characters and continues to use ableist language to refer to people who have opinions on fiction she doesn't agree with. I believe she will continue to do so to anyone who hasn't blocked her for as long as they don't block her. Recently, she has also escalated to suicide-baiting over what people write in fanfic.

Also, there is so much Leroux-compliant smut out there, and sure, more could never hurt. But you're not going to make people want to write more by calling the ALW musical version "bullshit" and putting down POTO fanfic writers as not as good as another fandom's. And you're definitely not going to win people to your point of view by calling them slobbering children, maniacs, and brainless for disagreeing with you.

Shaming people for how they like fiction and for what fanfiction they write is not fucking cool. Neither is calling people brainless dogs but I thought that was understood by anyone who gives a rat's ass about other people.
