Review:

I wanted to love this one so bad. It was so good until the last 50 pages, and then it went off the rails. It's Phantom of the Opera meets the Mummy essentially. And the ending pissed me off so bad because there really isn't a happily ever after because I don't see it lasting long term. I want to know how it's considered a satisfying ending. It's got a love triangle. It's got paranormal romance. It's blonde boy vs dark horse. It made me yell. It made me groan. It had some sweet moments. Like I said, the first 400 some-odd pages are great, and if you can get passed the twist at the end, power to you. The ending just wasn't my cup of tea.
