[Img 1] Ugh, I'm such a sucker for torture fics - and Phantom of Truth does it so, so well. I don't inherently believe Maddy to be someone who could go through with what she does, but it's written so well in her perspective that I find myself believing it. And it being Maddy doing the experimentation is so, so painful and successful.

[Img 2] Watching Danny stumble through messily healing is so good. Watching him try to keep everything to himself is so painful, in a good way.

[Img 3] Ugh, I love quiet, soft moments. I'm also a huge dog person, so reading Harley snuggle with Danny when he needs it most is so satisfying. :')

i tried a couple new techniques on this one bc it was a smaller project so i felt i had some room to play around and while it was an immensely frustrating time working on it, i’m not unhappy with the way it turned out <3

now onto shadow of a doubt, already typesetted and printed and ready to be bound!
