I really love that staff apparently decided the attention you were getting from the checkmarks died down too much and went, "Let's make them rainbow so they are extra eye-catching!" I am so sorry for the weight on your shoulders, but the saga is so funny 🤷‍♀️

Top 5 Marinette moments, please? ♡

5. Marinette the phone thief. It was a toss-up between these two moments I’m just gonna make them as one. First, we have Marinette cooly ask Adrien on a date and called him ‘hot stuff’ over voicemail then we have Marinette accidentally deleting Alya’s video of Ladybug talking to her for a quick sec after an akuma. The voicemail with Adrien is hilarious and her breaking into his locker and just watching her attempt to unlock his phone is just classic Marinette. With Alya’s situation, I thought it was very sweet of Marinette to try to recreate the video before admitting she accidentally deleted it. The lengths this girl will go through for the people in her life. Plus it was awesome for her to ‘set up’ an interview with Ladybug for Alya. 

4. Marinette traveling around Paris in her pjs to help her crush get to the movies. First of all the fact, she can get so scatterbrain that she leaves the house while still in her pajamas is iconic on its own but the fact that she will get stuck helping Adrien during this ordeal is just perfect. This was also her first time really helping Adrien out and spending one on one time with him. I always enjoy the moments were Marinette gets more comfortable around him and get into her element. Her quick thinking helped her get Adrien out of situations and managed to successfully get him to the movies before he got whisked away by Gorizilla.

3. Marinette’s A+ acting in Weredad. It’s just funny how Marinette’s mind works and she always jumps to the most elaborate and convoluted solution to nonproblems. This whole episode is just full of Marinette gold; from her fake love confession to Chat Noir to her sob story about forever being alone with her hamster loneliness to saving herself from the akuma without her miraculous this episode she was just continuously hilarious. 

2. The Statue Scene™️ don’t kill me. Yes, she embarrassed herself…a lot…but I love the goofy and over the top side of Marinette even when it is too much to handle. She was absolutely hilarious from storming out of the bathroom chanting ‘you’re super cool’ over and over, to letting herself be silly and have herself swoon over Adrien’s ‘statue’ that whole scene was the Marinette’s charm. It’s nice to see her let loose and act like a kid when she has so many responsibilities. We also got a nice discussion between Adrien and her that I very much enjoyed. 

1. Preventing herself from being akumatized in Chameleon. Marinette is so strong-willed and the power she has over her emotions is astonishing. Her life is stressful and busy and yet here she is boasting up her confidence and not giving in to her negative emotions. It was great seeing her rally herself up.
