emerging from the shadows to say that i've been thinking about phathros singing "you'll be in my heart" to little valkriis to help settle her. because i'm soft about interspecies child/parent relationships again. if you even care.

actually here’s some more HoS ideas my brain dropped recently while i was trying to pass out. contains some hos spoilers aaa

Valkriis and Garlic Mustard get separated for awhile, Valkriis fearing that he might be dead. A few years pass and she comes across a group of hive she’s been paid to exterminate with another hunter, but one of the hive beings, a knight with blue eyes, suddenly catches her attention and she saves him before he’s sniped. The hive are already injured from Valkriis and her associate(s) having chased them down, and this knight turns out to be Garlic Mustard! It takes him a moment to recognize her, and as his thralls and acolytes are closing in on her, he realizes who she is and tells them to back off. This is obviously going to become an ordeal of some sort that’s gonna be HELLA difficult but MAN I will think about it more another time skdfhg

Phathros is barren because of a near fatal injury she sustained long ago from a fight that resulted in the death of most of her hatchlings, EXCEPT Altydr, Valkriis’ eldest brother. Although it’s possible that Altydr is also adopted and all of her hatchlings (as well as others in her ketch) were killed. 🤷‍♂️

Phathros getting along very well with Soleil-3 and actually being incredibly fond of him and treating him like he’s one of her kin. They once bonded over their mutual distrust of The Spider.

Altydr being a caring older brother but also being an absolute joker/dork as well. I can imagine him doing that “GRAVITY’S INCREASING ON ME” shit with Valkriis
