As a Malaysian/Asian, food is a big part of our heritage. The 'MAKAN' culture is huge and is something we cannot deny. We never let our guests go home hungry and never turn down an invitation to food. From my observation, Malay food are quite healthy. We mostly use palm oil, coconut milk, proteins and veggies. We do eat them with abit of rice which is fine to some extent[not talking abt keto]. The problem is when we add SUGAR and PROCESSED FOOD to the equation. So please, do yourselves a favour and cut out/reduce the intake of these items. LEARN what is SUGAR and PROCESSED FOOD. This does not mean just the obvious sugary drinks or sweet treats that you have been having. It also includes all the fast foods, sauces, condiments and fruit juices you have been drinking. You may not need to stop taking them completely, but knowing when you have taken too much and how to reverse it is important. Your life may depend on it! - - #phatmamaeats #phatmamamy #dontblamethebutterforwhatthebreaddid
