hello!! could I request some tips for a phoenix therian? specifically tips for someone who isn’t very aware on the therian culture/community as a whole.

i’m very new to this, but i’ve known I wasn’t completely human for a while— though i’m still kind of confused on what i’m supposed to be doing? if that makes sense at all?

but of course, if that’s a bit too specific, I will happily take any kinds of tips at all. thank you for your time!! ^^

collect some jewelry or accessories that are feather, bird, or flame themed!

try wearing a blanket, cape, or towel around your shoulders to feel like your wings!

start following/interacting with other otherkin/therian/nonhumans! learn more about the community!

keep candles or other safe types of fire around your living space

learn about things like phantom limbs, shifts, and other common terminology in the kin community

do some makeup inspired by your kintype!

start connecting more with your kintype! try journaling about it or just spending time with yourself thinking about it
