At Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, Raymond Tony Chang Jr. leads a balanced academic life, studying business and competing as a varsity sprinter on the school’s track and field team. Additionally, Raymond Tony Chang Jr. maintains memberships in several organizations, including the Cornell chapter of the Phi Alpha Delta (PAD) law fraternity.
As the world’s largest legal fraternity, PAD oversees a variety of programs and activities that support and advance the work of students, schools, and legal professionals. Recently, the organization wrapped up its 61st Biennial Convention & National Leadership Conference, which was held August 3-7, 2016, in Washington, DC.
PAD student and alumni members from around the globe attended the five-day event to elect international officers and help plan PAD’s future programs. Outside of the business activities, attendees had the opportunity to network with fellow PAD members and take part in workshops, presentations, and other educational sessions on various topics.
PAD’s 61st Biennial Convention & National Conference also served to recognize the recipients of the 2015-2016 PAD Law & Alumni Awards, which recognize PAD chapters and members for their outstanding achievements.
