So I was going through my Phicc Masterlist and I realized that it’s probably pretty daunting for anyone who hasn’t read any of my stories since it’s nearly 80 different fics compiled together... so I figured I’d select my top ten favorite things I’ve written and make a new list!
Coming in #10 is Irony, a story exploring what would happen if Valerie experienced the same circumstances Danny did that led to her father losing his job. It hints at Gray Ghost if you squint, but it’s mostly platonic!
#9 is hurts so much when i think so deep, a quick, dark fic I wrote a few months ago on a whim. It’s not my best written, but it still sits with me pretty deeply so I considering it one of my favorites. TW for suicide attempt.
On the other hand, #8 is very light-hearted. Flowers is a post-reveal fic that delves into the concept of ghost nip.
#7 is one of the most... interesting things I’ve written. It’s very gory but in a fun way? All in all, Harvest is packed with a lot of World Building and hints at the darker sides of ghost society. If you like this, there’s also a sequel called Animals that Confine Me. TW for Ghost Hunger.
I forgot I included two Ghost Hunger fics in this list, but #6 runs in the same vein as #7. Although, Green is arguably the less twisted of the two and has more of a... remorseful resolution. TW for Ghost Hunger.
#5 is one of my favorite AUs of all time! The Doorway Inside explores the ramifications of the Portal!Danny AU, where the portal is bonded to him rather than to the lab. It’s a follow-up story to Portal Underneath My Skin but can be read as a standalone. TW for body horror.
As Fatigue Falls, #4, is a post-reveal fic that focuses on the familial tension that the Fentons face regarding Danny’s ghost-half.
#3 is different than anything I’ve ever written before and that’s because it’s a MCU crossover with Spider-Man. Enough follows Danny’s narrow escape from clutches of the GIW and consolation from his savior, Spider-Man. TW for suicidal ideation.
For #2, it was a hard choice but I settled on Comfort because for me it’s just such a visceral story amount accepting things that make us super uncomfortable. Like #4, it delves into a lot of post-reveal tension and was generally one of my favorite things to write last year.

I labored over amaranthine for a good month. The idea came to me about six months before I sat down and wrote it and that gave me a lot of time to figure out what direction I wanted to take it in. Basically, it’s a neat spin on the Immortal!Danny AU and is a weird blend of comedy and angst.

Shadow of a Doubt is one of the most well-known fanfictions in the phandom, sequel to Phantom of Truth by @haikujitsu! Danny is taken captive by the GIW and is experimented on by Maddie. It gets really dark, but SoaD is objectively one of the most fleshed out recovery fics ever! 11/10 would recommend.

No, it’s not weird at all! I’m always up for helping people navigate their way through finding good phiccs! I know that when I first joined the Phandom that I definitely didn’t know where to start. I can tell you that you won’t find anything on Wattpad, since that’s where I started looking and there’s only like a handful of decent fics on there. Both fanfiction.net and archiveofourown.org have good selections! Since I’m mainly familiar with FFN, I’ve listed phiccs from there below~
