The new Skate lore 😭 oh my god 😭😭😭 I literally already hc him with self-doubt issues pertaining to his 'role' as a leader/protector towards Coil & his family...
I like to imagine he begins to doubt himself once Coil goes AWOL for a while, how he thinks he himself had fallen short of providing adequate protection towards his friend which is why Coil left.
He doesn't think he's fit to be that pillar of support for people, questions his status as an older brother figure to the rest of his fam and wonders why they always stick around him when they would be better off on their own, oblivious to the amount of loyalty and affection they hold towards him AAGHHH DO YOU HEAR MEE
OHHH BUT IMAGINE IT STEMMED FROM WHATEVER INCIDENT THAT MADE HIM LEAVE SPLINTERED SKIES. He failed to protect someone and blames himself... Maybe even himself... if he can't save himself what good of a protector does that make him??
