I like the idea that while Vinnie didn’t get to interact with the MC much that he learned things about them from Urbain/Taunie. He accidentally mentions extra things when he, Corbeau, and Philipe are making progress on research’s and planning for the Hyperspce problems. So while doing all this work Corbeau tries to get Vinnie to drip feed him some information.

Also while Korrina would have helped regardless I like to think that Corbea may have gushed about the MC some.
