So I’ve had a few days being thrown off my stride with impromptu rehearsals, and I’m trying to catch up on essays writing and revision. My aim is to get as much done before I leave for holiday on Monday, because I don’t want to have to take masses of university work to do with me on the beach.

After a short hiatus and turning 20 (I’m now an actual adult... ew) I decided now would be a good time to do an introduction post since I don’t think I ever actually made one! So here goes:

About me:

I’m goth

I’m a witch

I believe in ghosts

I have a mohawk

I love fitness - I run, gym, and do pole

I LOVE tea. Like LOVE LOVE tea. 

Both of my tattoos are book references, and at least 2 of the next ones I want are also book references. 

One day I’d like to be a published author. 

I’m scared of a lot of things, including heights, falling, small spaces, woods at night, and talking on the telephone to people I don’t know.

What I’m studying:

I’m a 2nd year BA (Hons) English Education Student 

This means I’m training to be a secondary school English teacher. 

I graduate next Summer, which is terrifying. 

My modules this semester are:

Poetry in the Secondary School

Literature Theory and Practice

Practical Approaches to Shakespeare 

Current Goals:

Maintain a 1:1 average (>70%)

Build and maintain a regular workout pattern

Become more comfortable with my craft

Remember that I’m doing this for me, and no one else.

All the amazing art from yesterday’s tattoo convention! It’s always worth going just for the art on the business cards and stickers alone, even if tattoos aren’t your thing. 

Top row: business cards and sticker prints

Second row: My 2 new tattoos, print, badges, and stickers from John. He did some amazing work, all of his deigns were amazing! He was super speedy as well which is amazing for the amount of detail in the work. He was by far my favourite of the day, and I’m definitely going back to him at some point this year. 

3rd row: My new tattoo and print from Wolfgang Paradisio (I never caught her real name, I’m just going off of her IG hande.. sorry!). This was my first of the day. Even though it’s a bit of a sensitive area, she was so gentle and it was a genuine pleasure to be tattooed by her. 

I also picked up another print from another artist, but it’s incredibly NSFW and sexually explicit, and I know there are minors following me, so I’m not going to post that.

The Big North Tattoo Show is also on today, at the Newcastle Metro Radio Arena, tickets available on the door. If you can I highly urge you to go and check it out!

*Please remember that here in the UK you have to be 18 to get tattooed. Also (I know this is always said but I think it’s worth saying again) please try not to rush into getting inked. I went in with designs in mind and was lucky enough to find flash that worked for me. The Mushrooms I fell in love with instantly. The aren’t cheap but they are permanent - don’t do it just for the sake of it!*
