lady red, is there anything in particular you do first thing in the morning to motivate yourself/set a positive tone for the day? maybe before you even get out of bed? i'm trying to find ideas for myself, and seeing as you're such a Force of Good, i thought you might be a good one to ask :) p.s. have a great one <3
There’s not a whole lot I do to be honest! My morning routine is pretty simple. I find that having a routine in on itself helps motivate me and keep me going. My ADD pretty much forces me to plan out every hour of every day otherwise shit gets chaotic since my brain is bad at The Orginising Of Things y’know.
I get up early every day, my alarm is always set on the same time. Then I check socials and stuff on my phone real quick for a bit while I wait for my personality and stream of consciousness to seep back into my noggin.
Then I usually just wash my face, play some music that makes me happy and gets me fired up while I prepare and have a tea (or coffee if I’m particularly tired), an get to work. I work for two hours at a time with half an hour breaks (an hour breaks on the weekends), I find that works well for me to stay productive and not get lazy/procrastinate at all.
Also have a good diet and get enough sleep if you can! You won’t believe how much it helps your body feel more up to the tasks at hand. And get some air and do some exercise too if you can, keeps you energised. I just schedule it all nicely throughout the day.
I guess TLDR following a strict routine and setting myself clear goals keeps me pumped and ready to go.
