This is just me but I’ve always enjoyed the idea of Percy taking more after Molly in looks other than say his height and eyesight (potentially eye color as well). I’ve loved the idea that he’s practically the twin of his uncles, Molly’s brothers instead of the twins.
I know many people like to assume the twins are like their uncles since they are twins as well but I’ve never cared for that I idea. Maybe they are in personality but I’d like if Ron was more similar to them in personality and Percy in looks. (I like the idea of Fred and George being similar to Billius(?) on Arthur’s side.)
I know it doesn’t matter much but Percy being an exact copy of his uncles causing Molly to either force him, unknowingly or not, into being like them Or being the opposite of them because of the pain is something I’ve thought about. Or maybe why she’s rather distant from him especially. If you think about it she spends far more time on all his other siblings, sure it’s mostly yelling which isn’t good but it’s far more of that then her with Percy.
I having nothing to base this on other than Percy having curly hair, which I think is actually from the movies but oh well, like Molly.

We know that Bill, Percy, and Ron took after Arthur in their height and eye color (blue), while the other siblings took after Molly's family in their height and eye color (brown), but that's all we really know!
Percy doesn't have curly hair in the books (none of the kids do), but I headcanon that Molly has red hair, which Bill, Percy, and Ginny inherited, while Arthur has orange hair, which Charlie, the twins, and Ron inherited.
It would be interesting if Percy shared a lot of physical characteristics with his Uncles Fabian and Gideon, and that would explain some of Molly's distance from him - I doubt she ever fully worked through the loss of her brothers, because there was so much else going on, and the Wizarding World seems to be seriously lacking in mental health awareness.
