Stiles is hard of hearing, that doesn’t stop him from running with wolves. Doesn’t stop him from dating one either.

#Repost @trend.able with @get_repost ・・・ Out of those of us with physical disabilities, 26% of us don’t use a cane, walker, or wheelchair. 🌸 Those of us with Invisible Physical Disabilities and challenges have a unique set of challenges. For example, I could easily fall on my ass in a slippery parking lot but rarely use a handicap space for two reasons: ✨ I feel guilty – What if someone with a wheelchair doesn’t have a place to park? I can walk. Am I just being lazy? ✨ I will likely be judged – I will get a dirty look, rude comment or accusatory note on my car from ‘REAL’ disabled people and/or their advocates. 🌸 The saying “You Can’t Judge A Book By Its Cover” has a literal meaning for those of us with invisible physical disabilities and challenges. 🌸 Tell us what people don’t see when they look at you. . . . . . . . #trendable #charcotmarietooth #invisibledisability #invisibleillness #chronicillness #chronicillnesswarrior #spoonielife#spooniestrong#spoonies#neuroligicaldisorder#themightysite#footdrop#CMTStrong#invisibleillnessawareness#physicaldisability#peripheralneuropathy#disabledblogger#lookgoodfeelgood#butyoudontlooksick #pefectlyimperfect #chronicpain #spoonie #invisibledisease #chronicallyill #disabledandunashamed #embraceyourself #midwestbloggers #spoontheory #selfloveisthebestlove #bloggersofinstagram

Derek's a drifter with no home, no destination, and no will to live. Stiles works on his family's failing cattle and horse ranch while all his friends are going off to college. When Derek falls asleep in a random barn, exhausted and half-starved, he doesn't expect to wake up on the other end of the sheriff's shotgun. And Stiles sure as hell doesn't expect his dad to invite the drifter in for breakfast.

When Stiles, at college on a sports scholarship, loses his leg in a car accident, he finds help in an unlikely place—Derek Hale, captain of their basketball team, who Stiles is 99% sure hates his guts.

Stiles was quiet. “What?” Derek said again. “My first heat is coming up soon,” Stiles said at last. Derek closed his eyes, disinterested. He knew where Stiles was going with this. “I was thinking…hoping, really,” Stiles said. “Maybe you could stay with me during that time.”
AU in which wounded in a fire that killed off his entire family, Derek wants nothing more than to be left alone as he finishes off his senior year in high school. That all changes when omega Stiles Stilinski asks him to help him through his first heat.

I thought I would share this, most people who see me, don’t see the difficulties I go through day to day. These are the daily tablets I take for a month (x4 weeks), mainly to do with severe pain. There are 700 tablets in total (per month) of which x25 tablets are taken each day. Over the years I have been told I “am a fake”, “that there is nothing wrong with me” and “I just need to get over it”. For many many people, illness, conditions and many health issues whether mentally or physically are not seen. Some of us have to have strict medical treatment, strict structure in our lives, so that we can function “Normally”. You may have friends who you know has health issues/conditions, you may not know they have anything at all. People look down on others who do not conform to the “Normality” of what we class as “normal”. Because of this, it can lead to prejudice, hatred, hurtful comments. This can also take a toll on the mental health of people who are disabled. So I ask, before you judge someone, be mindful of what could be happening with them. You may not see what’s happening in their lives, or their daily struggles. But you can be there as a friend. #Disability #DisabilityAwareness #Health #physicaldisability #MentalHealth #Friendship #Judging #JudgingPeople #Support #DisabilityNeeds #Advocate #DisabilityAdvocate #SupportNetwork https://www.instagram.com/p/CoATIBHooN3/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
