My Physics Prof: "The most used word in science is not Eureka, it's Oh, Shit."
Physics Professor: let’s say that there’s a hole in the wall of the space station. If it’s a small enough hole, I should plug it with anything I have handy-
Physics Professor: so, I’ll plug it with my head
Professor Philip Moriarty watching the goop lab episode with the Energy Work Chiropractor healing clients from a distance.
I do believe that calming and relaxing someone with massage, touch and/or soothing the senses can positively influence physical/mental healing by decreasing heart rate, lessening stress, relaxing tension in the body and promoting deep sleep. But, the chiropractor in the goop film snapping his fingers above the body and claiming his snap is influencing the client at the atomic level? Skeptical.
Does anyone know of any recent science that supports energy healing, Reiki or therapeutic touch?

Physics Professor
My Physics Lab professor as my lab partner and I were leaving.
*To me* "You have very nice hand writing" *Gestures to my partner* "Yours is...not good. I have to grade your labs together, and in comparison, you suffer."

My physics professor:
"When my wife and I were dating and still in the phase of meeting each other's friends, she would always introduce me and say "He's smart." I didn't understand why she did this until I watched the big bang theory. I realized she did this to explain why I was weird."

"The correct answer is gravity and tension, there is no such thing as force due to motion. So, whatever brain cells told you the answer was force due to motion, you need to drink very hard to kill those brain cells."
