DON’T YOU TOUCH HER
Don’t You Touch Her
The room was silent as Zethrid growled at the five handcuffed paladins, “If you insist on maintaining this charade of ignorance, then you leave us no choice, but to apply pressure.”
Katie’s eyes widened slightly, and she scooted back, farther than the rest, trying to make herself as small as she could, as Ezor gave a gleeful sneer. “Finally. Who’s our first victim?”
Zethrid’s eyes scanned the room, licking her lips slightly in anticipation before her gaze fell upon the smallest paladin, half hidden by the yellow one. “You.” She decided, smirking at the look of defiance on the young girl’s face. “I’d bet half my fleet that this group of heroes has a soft spot for the small one.”
Ezor stepped towards the small one, enjoying how her face grew more terrified with every step. Katie pressed herself against the wall, trying to get away from the woman when a scream rang through the air.
Lance ran towards Ezor, his teeth bared, and an enraged look on his face. “Don’t you touch her!” He growled, attempting to swing his arms towards her, trying to make contact with the offensing female.
Katie inhaled sharply in surprise, her mouth opening to call him back, but no sound coming out, her voice was gone due to her fear. She watched, helplessly as Lance got hit by Ezor, falling to the ground in defeat.
Zethrid scoffed at him, “Your defiance is adorable, and so very misguided.” She sneered.
Katie glared at the woman mocking Lance, and spoke up, her voice trembling, yet barely noticeable. “Leave us alone!”
She fell back as Ezor whipped her head around to grab her wrists, bringing her towards the two.
Lance sat up, glaring at Zethrid and Ezor for harming the green paladin in any way. Only one thought was ringing through his mind, and that was, “How dare you?!”
