Happily Family! :3
The tragedy of i should of been your aunt/uncle though like the tragedy is crazy its like were literally there so if shit happens to your parents we can look after you. We were susposed to be
My piblings are visiting!!!
So I'm nonbinary, which isn't surprising, I use tumblr. But I had a sleepover with my aunt and uncle a few years ago, watching movies, screwing up mashed potatoes real bad, and floatin down the river with snacks and laughs. You know how it is. Later in the year at different times both of them expressed very gender queer sentiments about themselves then respectively started feeling out she/they and he/they pronouns. (I think I shed on them by accident, or like, bit them in my sleep. I don't know how it transfers but it does and it did.) Not many people in the family refer to either of them using different pronouns but I will occasionally, just for fun. My piblings are very important to me. Just remember to be there for your older relatives. They're figuring things out too no matter how far in life they are.
Anyways I've been trying to figure out how to make a "God gives his gayest nieflings to his most gender queer questioning aunts and uncles" joke and this is the best way I could do it in a way that vaguely made sense.
petition for the gender neutral form of aunt and uncle to be conat. like a derivative of the latin word cognatus (word literally meaning related [by blood, as a sibling, or just connected])
or perhaps prem, of fratrem (siblings) and parens (parents)
idk im not a linguist or anything i just think it makes sense to do the words the same way we did them before, not that anyone can accuse english of all languages of following the rules
Opinions on the word piblings for gender neutral aunt/uncle title? I also like tie as the neutered form of the Spanish tio/tia.
Here is a poorly lit photo of my dad double petting my piblings (my sister and Michael’s dogs are my pup niblings)
