Now, hear me out:
So Pickman, kills raiders, right?
Longneck Lukowski, sells canned ghoul meat, being that ghouls use to be regular humans, right?
Sole can let Pickman go, and there'll be letters indicating Pickman keeps tabs on Sole, right?
Sole can make a deal with Lukowski and let him continue selling human meat, right?
Sole can also be a cannibal, right?
So, I've got this business plan/fanfic idea, see-
No context meme again.
I never really "fully" cleared out Pickman Gallery until deciding to wipe my FO4 save and start anew, and... man. Oh god.
A hypothetical god tier for Pickman from Fallout: the Prince of Space.
A Prince of Space is among those who alter physical existence. They are motivated by themselves to destroy creation and beginnings. (x) The Prince of Space wants to have control over things and feels satisfied by the act of making something. (x) They are the Promised Mother, defined by control, creation, and beginnings. (x) Their opposite is the Bard of Time. Their inverse is the Sylph of Time. They share their personality with the Sylph of Blood. The Prince of Space would quest on a planet similar to the Land of Time and Frogs, reigned over by Echidna (Mother of Monsters) or Demeter (Goddess of Grain). They would rise to ascension on the wings of hummingbirds. (x)(x)(x)
Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities‘s take on Pickman’s Model is baffeling to me. How someone, can take such a brilliant and fantastic story, strip it of EVERYTHING that makes it great and stand out among the “normal” horror, then leave only a reeking pile of bad cult flick clichës, and still think “Ye, this is good!”. Guillermo del Toro absolutely have his moments of true genius within the genre, but after first reading his script of “Mountains of Madness” (SO glad it got canceled) and then watching this... it amazes me how he repeatedly seems to completely miss what made the orginal stories stand out. Sure, he didn’t Direct this one, but he still put his name all over it. Heck, Fallout 4s Pickman Gallery was more true to Pickman’s Model and better than this Cabinet of Curiosities take; and that says something beacuse that was just a fun silly side quest.
why not tumblr? Posting the devilishly weird pickman, always wanted to see more of them. 🎃☠💕
