No one’s going to convince me that Miles just spray-painted one of Peter’s old suits and put it on before heading out to the collider.
Peter was so much bigger than Miles. The suit’d have to get taken in.
Also the only part of Miles’s black suit that looks spray-painted is the spider logo.
I bet Aunt May had Peter’s shed whip up a new suit tailored to Miles. Maybe she was making it from the moment he left the shed the first time.
If she can make a pair of webshooters that “fit perfectly” she can make a spandex onesie in black and red. Quicker, even.
If there’s anything in that movie that has a computer-controlled manufacturing rig, it’s the Spider-Shed.
