Andor E9: Nobody’s Listening

Comments: Andor gains a friend, ISP lady gains a stalker, and... uhm, this show continues to be amazing. I hope there’s like, 37 episodes more of this. 

I think I said it before, but I'm not willing to believe Disney allowed this to be created. Like, honestly, what happened? How could Andor be created by the same studio that produced Kenobi and The Book of Boba Fett?

I'm afraid that, with its success, those in charge will notice and kill it. So everyone ya gotta promise, okay:

Praise Andor enough to get it renewed; Don't praise Andor enough for Disney to notice.

That's how it works, right?

Andor E8: Narkina 5 

Comments: Hey, it’s Forest Whitaker!

This show continues to be mature, intelligent, and well-written. I’m not willing to believe Disney made this.

Andor: E7: Announcement

Comments: Compelling characters and great writing. The scene between Maarva and Cassian is so real and well-written (and acted) it felt like I was actually in the scene. 

At this point, if this show can manage to stick its landing, it might be my favorite show of all time.

Andor E6: The Eye 

Comments: Exceptional. Nearly had a heart attack from the suspense. The show promised and then delivered. A near-perfect testament to good storytelling and a joy to experience.

Andor E5: The Axe Forgets 

Summary: The team gets ready, Mon Mothma has family trouble, and Jerk-Face guy tolerates time with his mother. 

Comments: Just fabulous. 

Takes the time to build suspense and flesh out its characters for, what I assume, will be a mid-season climax. 

The characters feel like real people. The dialogue continues to be fantastic. Every scene is a joy to watch... What else can I say?

Andor: E4

Comments: Continues to be exceptionally good. 

God damn is the dialogue well-written in this show. We get introduced to Mon Mothma, shown an alter ego of Luthen, see a bit of the consequences to Jerk-Face guy (he’s forced to go live with his mother), and see the internal workings of the ISB. 

I just found it funny how it ends on Andor being handed a datapad with specs of the freighter he needs to pilot, schematics of the garrison they’re about to infiltrate, and a phrasebook of the local language and when he asks if he’s allowed to eat his food they tell him they expect him to learn it all by morning. Then the music rises and the episode ends on this moment that’s portrayed dramatically, as if “learning a lot in a short time” is somehow an insurmountable challenge.

LOL. Welcome to PhD life, Andor you bitch.
