A Love triangle between Nathan, the priest, and PK where Nathan is trying to talk PK into reforming like he did in the episode and while he’s trying to fix PK he runs across the father of the boy Abaddon had possessed and tries to befriend him. Neither one knows about the other and Nathan is completely oblivious that the other ghost and immortal are trying to romance him.
All the while Abaddon is desperately trying to keep both of them away from his dad.
Nathan finds Abadon, they become father and son. One day Abadon mentions that there’s another immortal guy in the forest and Nathan is just like oh new family member let’s go!
I like to imagine that after finding Abadon Nathan actually takes his meds and is pretty good for a while.
Nathan fines PK in the forest and brings him home like a feral cat. PK is the new gardener/groundskeeper of the hotel. PK lives in the newly renovated shed.
Abadon is displeased with this new addition. It’s definitely not because Nathan has to split his attention on the hotel, the ghosts, and now the man who stole his trilby!
PK slowly starts like liking Nathan and he can tolerate Abadon.
Their dynamic is very much stop trying to date my dad and I’m gonna date your dad.
After a year of them being like a weird kind of cute family, Nathan slips back into depression and attempts to end it.
Abadon find him and freaks out. His first thought after Nathan is dying is to go get PK.
PK might not be up-to-date on a lot of things, but he remembered watching some doctor show with Nathan so he knew what to do. PK made Nathan throw up and called 911.
Nathan survives! Him and PK become a little more official. They don’t really say it to each other, but PK stops sleeping in the shed and ends up in Nathan‘s room, most nights.
PK and Abadon tolerate each other a little bit more, especially PK after seeing Abadon sobbing over Nathan.
Abadon and PK only really get along after their adventure to save Nathan from a monster in the woods. It was a whole father son bonding moment and at the end PK gives back Abadon’s trilby. Anyway, Nathan is safe in town. He just decided to ride his bike instead of taking the car.
A full year after Nathan‘s attempt, Kathy and the kids move in. Nathan was a little busy with his own family so he kind of forgot to tell his sister that he’s kind of sorta a family man?
Esther enjoys climbing on her new Uncle PK like a jungle gym and her new cousin Abadon is 100% a demon and they go on the craziest adventures.
Ben likes making strawberry jam with his new Uncle and his new cousin only bit him twice which is less than Esther ever has.
Kathy does not know about what happened with Nathan. Nathan actively tries to downplay how haunted and cursed this hotel is. So no his son and boyfriend are not immortal and or demons.
Nathan knows his sister is stressed enough, but eventually the truth about the hotel will come out, but for now he begged the ghost to chill out around his sister.
(Nathan is still kind of like Kathy’s guide to ghosts because they respect him due to his near death experience… plus he’s just genuinely a nice guy)
I also think in this AU, the hotel is most successful. Probably because Nathan is more stable and PK’s jam is just delicious. They sell it at the locals farmers market.
I think PK definitely got started with strawberries but now he has like his own section of the property. That’s just a garden/farm like he has chickens, a cow, bunnies maybe a goat or two and something that’s not great at pretending to be a dog. The “dog” name is grapes.
I think PK could be an allegory for addiction? Or like bad coping?
Basically reimagined his episode, but the mention of Kathy going on a date with somebody in the fact, it’s on the day of his usual killing spree is triggering some not happy times for him.
Like he kind of relapsed and almost kills Catherine and her date, and… Nathan.
The new ending would be PK and Esther sitting out by his strawberry field and Esther is holding his… I don’t know what to call the thing, but you know the little claw thing he kills people with?
PK has beef with the honeymoon sweet because it represents one of his triggers.
The honeymoon suite is a little pushy because it also ship Nathan and PK. So when it goes after Kathy PK is not happy because that’s his sister now!
There would be a whole plot where PK proposes to Nathan, but Nathan is worried that a wedding or him being married, would upset Kathy.
Kathy already knows PK asked for her permission to marry her brother because he’s a classy gentleman.
Abadon eats the rings. He was supposed to be the ringbearer. PK gets them…. It’s bloody.
Different endings
PK and Abadon run the hotel after everyone dies and Nathan doesn’t become a ghost because he died happy and lived a pretty good life.
Abadon loses his immortality after not completing the prophecy of the apocalypse. So he can grow up with Esther and Ben. later PK realizes that he’s been slowly aging so he gets to grow old with Nathan.
Bonus
The priest from Abadon backstory is somehow immortal? And tries to woo Nathan so he can get close to Abadon, to get his son back. PK is not having it because that’s his son and that’s his husband! (either Abadon and the boys souls merged or the boys moved on along time ago)
Edit I thought I read a post similar to this idea so I must give credit where credit is due @invaderdoom78
This ended up just being me, loving my two silly guys.
If anybody wants to write any of these kind of prompt things, let me know because I need more content of them!!!!
