You're doing god's work here, that's all there is to it! Thank you for the effort to upload these gems. There is such a different feel to these stories, than what's written and posted to AO3 now. Not that I don't like a lot of those stories, but you can feel the difference almost immediately with most of them.
ahh thank you so much!! it really does mean a lot to get messages like these :) and i agree! some of my favorite fics are on ao3, but it's soo interesting to read these zines and basically be transported back in time haha
Wouldn't it be amazing to live in a world with no advertisements anywhere? Ever? I think it would.
All girls need to start doing the Kira Nerys John Wayne walk now. Do it with me, friends. You'll feel better about everything.
I'm gonna speak in "i can haz cheezeburger" dialect until the day I die. "It fucken wimdy" is going to be engraved on my tombstone.
Uunnnnngggggghhhh, I don't wanna do anything but look at pictures of Starsky and Hutch and read fanfiction 😩😩😭😭😭
Why do they keep making DO THINGS? And think about OTHER THINGS that aren't them???
Shows I watched in the last year that I thought were darn near perfect, and would watch again in a heartbeat:
Alien Earth (FX, Hulu)
The Beast in Me (Netflix)
The Diplomat (Netflix)
The Pitt (HBO)
A Murder at the End of the World (FX, Hulu)
It: Welcome to Derry (HBO)
Paradise (Hulu)
Dexter: Resurrection (Paramount)
Interview With the Vampire (AMC)
Someone at work was going to throw away these magnificent colors. I could not in good conscience allow that to happen.
After some research, I've found they are color samples for a type of ABS extruded plastic called Cycolac, made by Marbon Chemicals (a division of Borg-Warner) starting in the 1950s to the late 1980s, until GE plastics bought the division.
One of the first uses was for the plastic housing of radios, and rotary telephones made by Bell Telephone.
In 1963 Lego started using Cycolac ABS plastic for its bricks.
The naming on these samples means they were made sometime between the 1950s and 1980s 🌈
