If you all have not seen the preview for the upcoming season of steven's universe you really should plus pirate lars! The minute I saw lars in his little space pirate jetup being all cocky little snot I just had to make him a chibi. I wonder if they're going to go more robin hood or cowboy bebop with lars's new, found pirate life. As for the art part, I wanted to give this chibi a more perspective pose after trying a few others. Then I painted the skin and eyes but hated how they turned out so had to repaint them, with much better results. I think his eyes turned out the best, very chibi like.

I got really hyped up watching the footage from the Steven Universe panel and HAD to make a button of Captain Lars! I really can’t wait for these episodes to finally start airing!!
