thinking about the unbridled chaos of the polycule trying to play scrabble

archie’s attitude of ‘yeah that’s a word. what does it mean? dunno. whatever i want. you can’t prove it’s not a word. oh you want to check the dictionary? we don’t have one cos we’re pirates’

zheng having the list of permitted two letter words memorised and calling everyone out on their bullshit except olu who gets a pass for being cute (which subsequently leads to very reasonable allegations of unfairness)

jim getting all the triple word scores and wasting every single one on low scoring words (‘jim i can see your tiles. you could’ve gone for KLAXONS and scored hundreds. ASS is nine points’ ‘yeah but ASS is funnier so’)

olu being cursed with the worst tile luck in existence and ending up 50 points behind because they’re nearly finished and he’s only drawn 3 consonants so far in the whole game
