My stupid idea for Pirates of the Caribbean 6
Poseidon (already a problem since Poseidon clearly had a tomb in the fifth movie, but bear with me) awakens upon the destruction of his Trident, and is rightly pissed that his favorite tool is destroyed, and there’s nothing to contain the magic and curses of the seas anymore. He begins to wreck havoc on the world, the Greek god of the sea is back and back with a vengeance. The seas themselves begin to spiral out of control. No one is safe anymore, and mythical creatures, spirits, and beings originally thought to be extinct make their appearance.
With the world’s balance in turmoil, old friends (Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth, Henry, and Carina) must team up with old enemies (A newly resurrected Davy Jones and Calypso) in order to find a way to calm the angry god and restore the seas. Mayhem and hijinks ensue as the beloved Pirates of the Caribbean franchise finally comes to a close....The climax would consist of The Black Pearl and The Flying Dutchman (once again captained by our favorite heartless wretch) leading a small armada against Poseidon and an army of sea creatures, and it’d basically be a giant sea-battle version of that awesome Battle at the Black Gate from Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (this is what happens when you listen to “For Frodo” while typing this). As in, this is a suicide mission with no hope of surviving, but they’re going in anyway to bid time for the real heroes in the background (no idea who they’d be in this case, but they’d be working on something to either calm Poseidon, or stop him for good, I dunno). Not everyone will make it, but hopefully the heroes and former enemies that end up surviving earn themselves a fitting, happy ending.
This is just my stupid idea for how I think Pirates 6 should go, and how it could compete with the epic finale that was the Maelstrom battle in At World’s End. If a sixth film is ever made, it will probably be much different.
