I can’t believe I just got my first kudos less than 3 days after I first opened my account on AO3 and published my first Natsby fic there right before the AO3 shutdown. This really means so much to me. I’ve been reading fics on Archive of our Own for ages and I never imagined I’d be publishing my own fics, let alone gaining any kind of recognition, on there when there are so many other good ones just lying around waiting to be discovered.

Synopsis: During a voyage for a diplomatic mission, translator Nick Carraway is one of many prisoners taken and held for ransom by the notorious Captain Jay Gatsby—a charismatic and mysterious pirate who will stop at nothing to gain wealth on the Seven Seas and get to his one true love, Lady Daisy Buchanan, the wife of Governor Tom Buchanan of Greenlight Port. So what happens on the night before Jay’s plan to attack the port and take Daisy away is set is begin?
