Just a messy sketch of my two curly haired young king protags, Crain and Jeff. There might be relation between them, I haven't decided yet, but it would have to be very distant since Jeff lived hundreds of years before Crain.

Don't mind me, just using ArtBreeder to futz with some character designs again and then trying to see how these two characters look like when you put them next to each other.
Bought myself a new pack of over 100 markers and decided to break them in by trying to draw my girl Lune. It didn't quite turn out to be Lune (wrong hair and vibe) but it's pretty nice regardless.
Say what you want about ArtBreeder but I have found it an incredibly useful tool for creating non-same face refs for my characters.
Here we've got nearly all of the protagonists of my Pirinthiose series. In order from left to right & top to bottom:
- Wolfe 'Speaker of the Animals' from The Keeper
- Dirk from The Lightning Tells
- Florine from Queen of Ice
- Crain from Wolf Howl Night
- Skye from Depths of Fire
- Jeff from Godsent
- Sankari from Of the Stars
- Ele Rona from Aventura
Pulled out an expression meme, used a random number and letter generator, and drew some Pirinthiose characters. Had a good time and I'm definitely gonna do some more. If you're curious about any of these guys or wanna send me a suggestion, feel free to yell at me in my inbox.
Just a tiny little something between Wolfe and Orthius (two of my OCs) that I found in my little class doodling notebook.
“There’s something quite beautiful about you.”
Wolfe looks up just in time to watch as Orthius’ face flushes over, the human’s mind catching up with what he has just said. But even though he bites his lip with concern, he doesn’t scrape and beg forgiveness like other humans would have upon making such a statement. Instead he looks him straight in the eye and allows his words to stand in a way that Wolfe has begun to respect.
A strange thing indeed, for the speaker of animals.
“what do you mean by this?” Wolfe prods, the human tongue garbled quite strangely in his mouth.
This is Rook, one of the gods in the Pirinthian pantheon, also known as the 'King of Games'.
The antagonist of the 'The Keeper' and 'The Helvetti Revolution', he has a long and interesting arc throughout the history of Pirinthipse and the many heroes that the world sees.
‘It is not so much a city compared to those of Nitola and Gangala, if only for it’s much smaller size, but seeing as it is one of the few larger and more organized settlements of Desola it has been granted such a title, an honor for what otherwise would be deemed a town.’
Sometimes, I think I’m clever in my writing.
