phil started pining for missa when they were very young. he was maybe.... 12? and never was able to quite let go of those feelings, especially as they grew up and missa just became more and more timid

forever was missa's first kiss. they were 15, and the former had been given a little Too Much wine for his age. it was sloppy, and a little awkward, but missa didn't stop thinking about it for a month straight. phil was only a little jealous when he found out.

missa's second kiss was with phil. missa had ended up having a panic attack at one of his families parties, so phil guided him to a guest room. they were about 17 and 18, respectively, and it wasn't nearly as awkward or clumsy as the first; phil gently guides missa and they end up low-key making out until a knock on the door interrupt them. phil is Very Annoyed at being interrupted, but missa immedately switches back into Royalty Mode and goes off xD

phil's first kiss, like missa, is also forever. They were 14-ish, and they just wanted to know what it was like.

Phil falls for missa first as kids, then forever once they're adults. Forever is the opposite, having developed feelings for phil first when they were kids, and later loving missa when they grew older.

Sugarduo are VERY protective of missa. any royal advisor says anything to him, forever is immediately at his defense, putting them in their place. Phil constantly has his hand on his weapon, ready to take out his sword or bow at a moments notice to protect missa. Missa doesn't really mind; he honestly kind of likes it (maybe a bit more than he should).

I have scene in my head of like. The rebels attack a party for the royals and missa ends up caught in the smokebombs, but he ends up being saved by phil. And then missa realizes oh wait. they're.... protecting me. thats. werid. okay then.
