WALK, TALK, FORAGE, DANCE, CONNECT
Curated on behalf of Pixxelpoint Festival with participation from ReThinkable Festival and UNNG
A full-day, site-responsive programme along the Soča River combining guided foraging, shared food preparation, embodied practice and progressive sound programming, culminating in a riverbank session featuring Faux Naïf (UK), Riccardo Gregorig (ITA) and TBHVRST (UK).
The project was conceived as a single, continuous narrative rather than a collection of activities. The day moved from ecological attention - walking, identifying plants, harvesting and cooking together - into a modular live sound environment and finally into a DJ-led activation. Each phase shifted tempo while keeping the group intact and present.
The structure avoided traditional staging and performer hierarchy. There was no separation between audience and act; participation and collective pacing were central. The sonic programme moved from ambient modular textures into deeper club energy, delivered by an exceptional lineup spanning international and regional artists.
My role covered concept development, programme sequencing, contributor coordination, spatial flow and public communication. The challenge was maintaining coherence across ecological, social and sonic formats while delivering a high-calibre cultural offering.
