Art Minor (Utopia)

Hello everyone! For my minor, I created some art~! Which is also the reason I haven’t been as active on here, as it was a work in progress. However, as I had my grading, I finished most of it. Below the cut all the things I made, including stories! Also, this minor was centred around “Utopia”.

Unfortunately, the ceramics came out of the oven too late, so I was unable to paint them yet, or present them. It’s too bad, I think.... Because painting them breathed some life into them, somehow.

I’m so upset I didn’t get to paint this one yet, as I had great plans for it... However, school is starting up again, so I’ll be able to finish my pieces. For this, my inspiration came heavily from the NieR games, honestly. I’m just super interested in the world and the lore. Obviously, my stories still differ greatly from the plot of the games, but I still like to mention where I got my inspiration from.

Landscapes are pretty nice to paint. Yet, I am not wholly satisfied with this piece. It’s the grass that makes me want to pull my hair out. However, I will simply paint over it with the same plants you can see in the right corner. Those were easier to manage and look really nice. The katanas are from 9S and 2B from NieR: Automata ;).

Etching! Abstract art is really not my thing, honestly... However, I am interested in using the technique some more, on more free forms~ In the end, this is what my assigned table looked like

Working with caramics was a lot of fun. Painting really made me think about how I love making things with details (the leaves in the trees took me around 10 hours to complete...). All in all, I can’t wait for my next art minor! (Which is starting next week, lol).

Inktober 2017

Soooo, I’ve made a few drawings during October this year! 20 in total, some better than others.... So I’ll just post them here, as usual ^^. I’ll post them in order of appearance!

Tyki Mikk, D.Gray-Man. Tyki is just so HNNNGGGH, you get me?

V, Mystic Messenger, because I was on his route~! I loved it!

Tiger, Outlander: Fantastic Princess. I really like how he turned out, to be honest ^^.

Lancelot, Outlander: Fantastic Princess. I really like a lot of the men from this game <3. Too bad I didn’t have any Phoenix CGs, then...

Jumin, Mystic Messenger. I failed with the skin colour, as apparently the black in the hair hadn’t dried quite enough, so it left streakes...

Kuroyuki, Nightshade. I wanted to draw so many of the people in Nightshade, but I couldn’t get around to it... So, simply Kuroyuki for now ^^.

Ichinose, Hadaka Shitsuji. I love how he turned out, although his hair isn’t as silver as it ought to be... Why did Tomoaki have to fuck him up?! He was so precious ;-;.

Yamazaki, Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan. I also wanted to draw more of Hakuouki, but couldn’t... I also hate the fact how he dies every. Single. Time. But I saw he had his own route, soooooo...

Baldr, Kamigami no Asobi. My very favourite from the series~!

Chrom, Fire Emblem: Awakening. Chrom was my very first husband from the Fire Emblem series, so he’s very special to me <3.

Lucina is precious to me for pretty much the same reason, as she was my first daughter~! Ah, she’s so serious and diligent...

Libra, Fire Emblem: Awakening. I messed up with the skin colour... My colours were way too dark against a blond haircolour... I’ve learned from it, though...

Gaius, Fire Emblem: Awakening. I messed up the eyes pretty badly... Too bad.

Selkie, Fire Emblem: Fates. Have I said I have a love for cute things? No? Because I have! I like Selkie soooooo much! She’s so cute! But quite an airhead as well....

Mimi and Hetaro, Re:Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu. SOOOO CUUUUTE~! Also, their hair appears to be brown, but it’s definitely more of an orange with the original version ^^’.

I guess this is supposed to be me...? It doesn’t look a lot like me regardless, haha.

Lilith, Fire Emblem: Fates. I got some new markers, especially skin tone markers, so I had to figure out how to use them well ^^’. Anyway, I absolutely LOVE Lilith so, sooo much! I wouldn’t have mind if she were the lesbian love interest...

Navi, The Legend of Zelda, although I haven’t played this particular game yet...

Lilith in her dragon form! SO. DARN. CUUUUTE!

Orenchi no Furo Jijou always makes me soooo happy >///<. Mikuni is SOOOOO CUUUUTE! Also, as it was the last day of October, and therefore Halloween, I wanted to make a Halloween related drawing. And once more, somehow I fucked up the eyes again ;-;. Anyway, that was all for Inktober this year~! Hopefully next year will be as succesful as well ^^.

Cosplay -Girlycard-

So, y’know, I already got a Seras cosplay, so why not a Girlycard one, am I right...? As I’m going to Tsunacon in Rotterdam tomorrow (yikes, tomorrow already?!), I kind of finished this cosplay. Still have to do things differently and add or edit some things, but it’s getting there. Also not too satisfied with the new contact lenses (my other contacts broke ;-;). So, I got some pictures below of my work in progress, since I love them the most <3. Will maybe add new pictures that were made at the con. Maybe...

You guys don’t even want to know how much I love this one, haha. As you can see, I am only wearing one contact lens (the other one broke that day ;-;). And of course the outfit is still not there.. And the wig is not styled, either.

Only picking the few I actually really like, haha.

Also cat ears, because cat ears...

And now for the pictures where my outfit is actually together and the wig styled... (still the plastic/fake shine, and I took care of that (what with putting the wig in fabric softener for 5 days), so on the new photos it should look better... I hope...)

Also added a light-coloured lipstick, to bring out the vampire feeling more...

Yes, I took a lot of pictures of me swirling around, because I thought the photos had a nice effect, haha.

Haha, can you believe how weird it is for me to walk around with black eyebrows...? (even though you actually don’t see them -.-). They are actually pretty light, sometimes even going as far as being nearly invisible, which is funny sometimes.

Cleopatra Cosplay(...?)

So, a pretty long while ago I received a pretty okay looking wig from a friend of mine. Since it’s a black boblined wig, I immediately thought of Cleopatra when wearing it. So now I’m more or less seriously considering cosplaying Cleopatra...?! Anyway, I made some fun pictures today and a while ago. Just look beneath the cut. Also, expect to see cat ears, lol.

Okay, wow, the pictures are a bit out of order, but whatevs.

So, this is me, wigless. Dat eyebrow game got me like wow, though. If you look at my Seras cosplay, you know how light my eyebrows naturally are... But for this, I coloured them with an eyepencil. Also, the amount of make-up is too damn high! Besides, I’m naturally pale, so even the lightest make-up is usually too dark for me, lol.

Do you understand when I said I immediately thought of Cleopatra with this wig...?

Haha, also, I’m studying Japanese right now! And with calligraphy lesson, I asked some natives how my name would be (might be) written in kanji. Also, this is the “wrong” version. I have one with the correct strroke order. However, that one is really dear to me, so I’m not hanging it on my door, in fear it might tear or whatever. So this version is a bit “meh”. Try guessing what my real name might be ;).

Sakuya Le Bel Shirogane - Hatoful Boyfriend

Everyone know the drill by now, yeah? So, this time it’s our lovely Sakuya! I just really, really like how this drawing just came together! Even though I had to visit the doctor, my day wasn’t ruined. (Just something about my foot, just a small thing, nothing serious). And now I jokingly say “A pigeon a day keeps the doctor away,” as I seem to upload one every other day (this one is late. I had finished it yesterday but played Garry’s Mod, and as such didn’t really have time to post it outside of Facebook). So, up next is Okosan (which is going to be hilarious!) As usual, WIP under the cut ^^.

Sketch! Wasn’t satisfied about the mouth, so I made some corrections later on :3.

And, as usual, I had to retrace the line-art of the hair with a 2B pencil XD. Pretty double work and all, but it really looks great when I look back on it! So, totally worth it, even if it takes a bit longer ^^.

And the endresult! I promised Yelect I would make him better than all the other “mongrels”. And I guess I kind of succeeded...? Anyway, I really like this drawing (though his bowtie bugs the hell out of me!). I’ll be colouring the left side accordingly. Seems like I missed it and/or didn’t see the huge colour difference... Also, I read “everybody” as everybirdie everytime I see the word ;-; What has this game done to me?!?!?! As usual, Yelect and I decided to dub Hatoful Boyfriend. The first few parts aren’t that great, but it picks up! Playlist on YouTube.

Nageki Fujishiro - Hatoful Boyfriend

All right, so I drew the most precious birb out of all the birbs in Hatoful Boyfriend. I just love, love, love Nageki so, so much. I just want to wrap him up in a blanket, prop him up against the wall, hand him a cup of hot chocolate milk, while I pet his head. He just deserves all the good things in life ;-; Ugh, what did Hatoful Boyfriend DO to me?!?! Anyway, I also drew Anghel! Link! And as said in the other drawing:  Anyway, Yelect and I decided to dub Hatoful Boyfriend. The first few parts aren’t that great, but it picks up! Playlist on YouTube. Well, this WIP is pretty much the same as Anghel’s XD. 

Ah, poor, precious cinnamon roll. I really will fight anyone who doesn’t agree with me... Also, had to line-art the hair several times, just as with Anghel XD.

So... My Seras Victoria cosplay is done! Not satisfied about a lot of things, but I still got a lot of compliments this Saturday, during a cosplay meeting in Zwolle. Under the cut the progress of my cosplay and some pictures I liked. Took some with my snake, so if you’re scared of snakes... Don’t look below this XD.

Also got a lot of pictures still on Whatsapp, but I’m too lazy... So it’s going to make large skips XD.

During this time, I still didn’t realise it was too tight at my chest :(. If only I knew before, the cosplay would be even better, with all the buttons actually lining up...

And of course it’s important to have something to drink after the meeting! Wore sunglasses so as to not startle people too much XD.

The next photo’s are taken with my pet boa constrictor, Sora! So, don’t look any further if you dislike snakes and/or fear them. Also, these were taken on Sunday, the day after the cosplay meeting, so I wasn’t wearing my contacts at that point, since I only took a few photos for fun.

She is still so tiny, but still as pretty as when I got her ^^. Though she’s only 2 years old, so she still has quite a way to go yet...

She’s so pretty :3. And, you know... I thought, I don’t have any bats, so a snake is good enough for a vampire XD.

Have you seen the little spot on her head?! It’s so adorable!

Okay... So I decided to red Seras up even more XD. Just an impulse, and I decided to just run with it at that point...

To be honest, I think they are the nicest photos taken...
