a new soft concept for thirsty thursday: brushing and braiding clyde’s hair !! got any cute thoughts about that? :3

He just loves it when you stroke your fingers through it.

Sifting through - he leans back when you wind a finger through his tresses, pressing kisses to his sloping cheeks in the empty bar. The sun shines through the windows, and Clyde’s eyes flutter shut as he sighs.

“Always so pretty” you coo, tucking one strand over the other. A plait starts to form, and you’re giddy at the thought of it.

He lets you do this, in the quiet moments in-between. His heart patters, and Clyde pouts in that Clyde Logan patented way he always tends to.

“You braidin’ me again? What’s Earl gonna go sayin’?”

You lean to the side, watching Earl nursing a beer on the porch of the bar. You can just imagine it: imagine that shit-eating grin on Earl’s face, seeing Clyde all prettied up with plaits and braids.

“Earl’s gonna think you’re beautiful. He’ll have half a mind to sweep you of your feet himself.”

“She’s goddamn right!” Earl hollers from through the propped-open door, and Clyde’s lip twitches as he flushes the gentlest pink.

“Told you.”

One of the most frustrating things about making whips is all the things that can cause the seams to twist. In this case, even though the seams were straight after braiding, the wax bath was a little too hot and caused an uneven contraction in the strands. It's not bad in the pictures, but when the whip is laid out straight it becomes more apparent. Otherwise I was very pleased with the aesthetic and handling

I would love to plait a boy’s hair...maybe even stick some little flowers in. Buttercups maybe because they’re sunny and happy flowers

well tumblr, its been a while. 6 years later and im back, the little girl who was horse obsessed is now kind of grown and is living the dream as a professional groom, and is somewhat making a living out of riding. here’s to my comeback?
